Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 28 February 2026

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Allergy Clinic website (allergyclinic.co.uk) and the diagnostic allergy blood testing services provided by Medical and Dental Limited, trading as Allergy Clinic, at 20 Old Brampton Road, South Kensington, London, SW7 3DL. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Our Service

Allergy Clinic provides diagnostic allergy blood testing via nurse-led venepuncture. Blood samples are sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis, and a detailed laboratory report is provided. Our service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) under Provider: Medical and Dental Limited (1-20629579981).

We do not provide medical consultations, clinical diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatment plans as part of the testing service. We recommend that you take your test results to your GP, allergist, or immunologist for clinical interpretation and personalised guidance.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to adults and children. For patients under 16 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and attend the appointment. We reserve the right to decline a booking if we reasonably believe the service is not appropriate for the patient.

3. Bookings and Appointments

  • Appointments are booked through our website or by telephone. A deposit may be required at the time of booking.
  • Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are unable to attend, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel.
  • Allergy Clinic reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, we will offer an alternative appointment or a full refund of any deposit paid.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund of any deposit paid.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend without notice, may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Once a blood sample has been taken and sent to the laboratory for analysis, a refund cannot be issued.

5. Test Results and Interpretation

Test results indicate IgE sensitisation to specific allergens. Sensitisation does not automatically confirm clinical allergy. A positive result means IgE antibodies against that allergen are present; a negative result makes sensitisation less likely but does not completely exclude it.

Your results should be interpreted alongside your clinical history by a qualified healthcare professional. Allergy Clinic does not provide clinical interpretation, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Allergy Clinic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the testing service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing Law
